A green and, above all, healthy lawn: who doesn't dream of it? Unfortunately, weeds can greatly disrupt the appearance of your lawn and garden. Weeds grow quickly and take the place of your lawn and other plants, resulting in an uneven and unkempt appearance. This is why it is important to use the right weed killer.

To avoid weed growth in the lawn, it is extremely important to pay sufficient attention to regular fertilisation. A well-maintained turf - receiving proper care - is fuller, has fewer bare patches and is much more resistant to difficult conditions such as droughts. 

Note: Since 2019, the sale and use of selective weed killers (i.e. those that only kill weeds and spare your lawn) has been banned in Belgium. Regulations have also been tightened in the Netherlands. The vast majority of weed killers in our range are therefore total weed killers that control weeds, grasses and mosses on terraces, driveways and paths, among others.

The number of weed killers that are safe for lawn use is rather small. With these agents, your lawn is spared but the interfering crops (i.e. weeds) are destroyed.

Control of mosses and green deposits

Moss is a common problem. It occurs on paths and terraces, but also in lawns. A lawn that is largely shaded can quickly become overgrown with moss. It can make a lawn look unkempt and it can also stunt the growth of grass. Moss and green deposits on the garden path or terrace are really annoying. It can make a lawn look unkempt and it can also stunt grass growth.

Moss and green deposits mainly occur during humid periods. After winter, therefore, you often notice that your house walls, patio or path is overgrown with moss or green deposits. Depending on the severity of the infestation, you choose a treatment to remove the green deposits, or a broader treatment that also removes mosses and lichens.
