Insect control 🪳
Insecticides are plant protection products used to protect plants from insect damage. These insecticides are used not only in professional agriculture, but certainly also in our private gardens. One of the most common pests in our gardens is aphids. These tiny insects can cause major damage to plants and crops. Aphids, but also damage caused by caterpillars, beetles or spider mites can fortunately be controlled effectively.

Fighting wasps 🐝
To control wasps, you can use special wasp traps. These contain an attractant that wasps find irresistible. They enter the trap, but get stuck and die. It is important to attach these wasp traps in strategic places. There are also plenty of sprays against (among others) wasps in our range.
You probably recognize it: you are sitting on a terrace, and a wasp just comes along to disturb things.
However, there are quite a few remedies you can use to control those annoying wasps. Did you know...
...that wasps do not like coffee at all? A good cup of coffee is delicious for us, but an absolute horror for wasps. So do not throw away coffee grounds, but keep them in a jar for the dining table on your terrace.
Lemon candles are not only cosy, they also keep wasps and mosquitoes away. Some lemon verbena or lemon balm in your borders can also help. Cloves and vinegar are also among the scents they absolutely do not like.
Fighting flies🪳
That annoying buzzing of flies or fruit flies in the house, it drives you crazy.
Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to catch flies in the house, such as glue traps. Flies always gravitate towards heat and light, so they automatically fly to your windows. Therefore, that is the place to control flies. There are also lots of spray and lure traps available for flies. But the way to control flies is to make it as difficult as possible for them to get inside. This is best done with a screen door.
Tips to avoid flies in your home
- Hang sticky traps to catch flies effectively. Keep doors and windows closed as much as possible, or place mosquito nets in front of windows and doors.
- Do not leave food leftovers, without food there is little to catch flies.
- House flies dislike the strong smell of vinegar, cloves, lemon or basil. Put a container with one of these products in, for example, near a door or an open window.
