Stem String String Bean Admires produces beautiful, long, tender stringless string beans. This stemmed string bean requires no growth support and gives a good yield. It is an early variety whose pods should be picked young. Admires can be grown on all soil types. Sowing; early sowing (mid April) should be done under glass, as the weather conditions outside are still too changeable then. String beans are very sensitive to wet, cold and inclement weather. In mid-May you can plant the sprouted plants outside in the garden. Direct sowing in the garden is possible from mid May until July. Plant out in rows or rows 40 cm apart and place the beans 10 cm apart in the row. The planting depth is approx. 3 cm. Above all do not use fresh farmyard manure. Harvest: Depending on the sowing time from July to September. The pods should not remain on the plants too long, otherwise they may become tough.
