'Rampicante Zuccherino' is an early variety and a strong grower that gives good yields. The light orange fruits have a smooth skin and firm and sweet smelling flesh. Melon belongs to the cucumber family (Cucurbitaceae), in our climate melon can only be grown in a greenhouse, in a flat container or under a polytunnel it is also possible.
Sow as of March under glass in pots, ensure a constant temperature of 20 to 23°C for rapid germination. Transplant to the greenhouse, container or tunnel from late April to mid May.
