The fertilizer granules can be spread by hand (1 handful = about 50 g) or with a fertilizer spreader. Fertilize the lawn 3x a year for best results.

Application Tips:
- Mow the lawn a few days before fertilizing (4-5 inches is a good length). Apply the fertilizer to a dry lawn and preferably in growing weather. If it has not rained a few days after fertilizing, water the lawn for faster action.
- When establishing a new lawn, it is best to first lightly rake 40 g/m² of COMPO Budget Lawn Fertilizer into the soil before sowing. Respect the indicated dose.
- Do not use the fertilizer too close to acid-loving plants (Azalea, Rhododendron, Erica, Calluna...). They do not like lime because it reduces acidity.
- Avoid fertilizer granules on hard surfaces (e.g. tiles, wood floors...) and on clothing.
