A pool provides the necessary cooling and water fun, but it is very important to also keep an eye on the values for a safe & healthy swimming experience. The set contains 50 disposable strips for determining pH, chlorine & alkalinity.
Procedure:
- Place the strip in the water for a few seconds
- Allow the strip to dry for a few seconds (blow dry to speed up the process)
- The strip will change color. Hold the strip next to the color chart provided and find which color best matches and thus what the value of your own pool waterr is.
The ideal pool values:
- pH: 7-7.6
- chlorine: 1-2.5mg/L
- alkalinity: 100-150 ppm
