Grow your own avocado plant easily with the amazing avocado flower pot. Place an avocado seed on the floater that floats on the water in the outdoor pot. After a few weeks you will see the first roots growing and you can plant the seed in potting soil to green up your home. From kernel to plant Enjoy a delicious avocado and don't throw away the kernel. Wash the kernel and remove the brown outer skin. Place the seed with the round side down in the floater. Fill a flower pot or bowl with water and place the floater in it. Change the water weekly and be patient. After about 3-4 weeks the wick will burst open and you will see roots appear. You will see the first leaves after about 6-8 weeks. When the avocado plant is about 15cm tall replace the water with potting soil. Place it in a sunny spot and enjoy your own mini avocado tree!
