Biogrowi Scatter Tube - natural control against thrips - 25000 predatory mites
Product information "Biogrowi Scatter Tube - natural control against thrips - 25000 predatory mites"
If you often buy new houseplants or grow your own vegetables, you may suffer from thrips sooner or later. Fortunately, you can solve this problem with the help of Neoseiulus Cucumeris, a type of predatory mite that eats the eggs and larvae of thrips. Neoseiulus Cucumeris are beige predatory mites about 0.5 - 1mm in adult size. They come in a scatter tube with flour mites and bran.
These predatory mites are ideal for houseplants such as Monstera, Tradescancia, Calatheas, Anthuriums, Ficus, roses and gerberas. For vegetables such as cucumber, bell bell pepper, melon and eggplant, as well as grapes and strawberries, it is best to use them in combination with Orius.
Neoseiulus Cucumeris work best at a daytime temperature of at least 20°C and humidity of at least 65% for several hours a day. To use the predatory mites, first allow the scatter tube to reach room temperature and sprinkle them evenly over the affected plants. The number of predatory mites you need depends on the infestation and varies between 200 and 1000 predatory mites per m². In case of a heavy infestation you can repeat the treatment after 3 weeks or switch to thrips breeding bags.
