Zwaardlof belongs to the Chichory family which includes endive, the cultivation and taste of this vegetable is therefore very similar.
The crispy stems and soft leaves resemble dandelion leaves and can be harvested early. In addition to a great taste, it contains vitamins; A, B1, B2, C and PP, as well as minerals such as calcium, phosphorus and iron and many other substances with beneficial effects on digestion.
Animal Favorites are intended for self-growing complementary animal foods. Always use complementary animal foods in moderation and alternately, in addition to basic (complete) animal foods.
