Fodder Beet - Brigadier
Fodder beets are highly nutritious tubers and therefore excellent livestock feed. You can feed the leaves directly to your rabbits, goats or cows and the beets can be kept cool and
dry well as winter stock. March to the end of May sow in the garden in rows 20cm apart and 50cm between rows. Fodder beets can then be harvested in October or November.
