Feather grass - Pony Tails
This graceful grass has green, narrow leaves that resemble pony tails. White flower panicles develop from May through August. Sow the grass starting in late March in a germination tray at 15-20°C or later outdoors in a seedbed. Cover the seeds lightly and do not let the soil dry out. Prick out the seedlings in small groups once they have developed enough roots. Then transplant them into a larger pot or directly to their final spot. Grasses like well-drained soil and in winter the soil should not be too wet.
