This special white sunflower is a wonderful eye-catcher in bouquets. The flower has vanilla-colored petals that turn whiter in the sun. The dark center contrasts beautifully with the white petals. Sow the seeds starting in mid-May in the open ground in a sunny spot. It is best to sow immediately in the final spot. Re-sow in stages after 2 or 3 weeks for a longer flowering season. The flowers bloom from summer to late fall.
