Product information "Akebia quinata - pot - 50-60 cm"

Akebia quinata, also known as mock gherkin or chocolate vine, is a semi-evergreen climbing plant. It grows chocolate-colored flowers in April and May. These are followed by striking violet-purple fruits in the shape of a pickle. The plant is well hardy

CULTIVATION TIPS:
The mock gherkin can be placed in either a sunny spot or a spot of semi-shade. Just make sure the base of the pant is in the shade. This plant does well in a well-drained soil. However, the soil should not contain too much lime or chlorosis may occur
