GROWING TIPS:
Chinese cabbage prefers to grow in the sun in nutrient-rich, moist soil. A normal organic fertilization of the soil is a good basis. For good growth it is best to give a light additional fertilizer during the cultivation. The soil should be kept sufficiently moist. Water preferably at the foot of the plant and not on the leaf!

To protect the plant from this, you can apply a cabbage collar. This can be a simple cardboard disc that you cut out and put around the base of the cabbage. In this way you prevent the cabbage fly from laying her eggs at the foot of the plant. You can also sprinkle ashes around the base of the plant

The caterpillars of the cabbage white can also do a lot of damage to the leaves because of their voraciousness. To prevent the cabbage white from laying its eggs on the cabbage, you can stretch insect netting over the cabbages

With cabbages, crop rotation is very important : preferably plant cabbages in the same place only every 4 years to avoid tuberous foot

HARVEST AND STORE:
Chinese cabbage is not susceptible to frost. In a cool place, Chinese cabbage will keep for several weeks
