The Mc Phail trap is a plastic trap consisting of 3 parts: a transparent lid, an inverted funnel and a pheromone basket. The Mc Phail trap is used in the fight against the cherry fly. The insects are attracted by the pheromone capsule at the top of the trap and fly into the trap through the opening of the inverted funnel. Once inside the trap, the insects remain attracted by the pheromone scents and by the light that falls in through the transparent lid. When exhausted, they fall into the liquid located at the bottom of the inverted funnel and drown. Here you will only buy the Mc Phail trap without pheromone capsules.
