Application

Treat in calm weather to prevent the product from being blown away. Prevent the granules from lying on top of floating plant parts by submerging or watering them.

Instructions for use

Alg-Stop works best via contact. Therefore, in the case of thread algae, if possible, apply the product locally so that it remains on the thread algae strands. For floating algae (green water) or blue-green algae spread the product evenly over the pond. In very strong algae growth only one third
to half the pond treatment and dosage to adjust. After 1 week treat the rest of the pond. Too rapid demolition and bacterial degradation of many algae can lead to oxygen deficiency and, in blue-green algae, to release toxins into the water. To avoid this, treat strong algae growth in 2 times and remove dead algae that float to the surface after treatment and / or end up in the filter and clean the filter

If possible turn off the filter pump for 8 hours after treatment. In case of recurring algae growth, repeat the treatment after 2 weeks at the earliest. Also avoid overfeeding fish: too many nutrients in the pond promote unwanted algae growth and oxygen deficiency.

Dosage
