Product information "Chilli - pressing block 10x10 cm"

Cayenne chillies are usually dried and ground into a spicy powder

PLANTING STAND:
80 cm x 40 cm

CULTIVATION TIPS:
Growing peppers is similar to growing peppers, but peppers are more vigorous, especially since the fruit load is lower. You should not plant the pot ball too deep so that the stem does not come into contact with the soil. The soil should be sufficiently warm to plant, and make sure you have a good organic fertilizer. After fruiting, we can give an additional fertilizer dissolved in water. They need enough water, but should not be too wet. Peppers are best planted in a tunnel or greenhouse; in hot summers it is also possible to grow peppers in a sunny, sheltered spot in the open air. When growing in pots, you should fertilize regularly and water daily.
Peppers should be supported with a few sticks around the plant or on a wire (or 2 wires).
The plant will grow with 1 stem in the beginning. Then the plant splits into 2 shoots. Until the first natural
branching of the plant, all side shoots are diced. It is also recommended to remove the first 4-5 fruits
to obtain a strong plant.

ADVICE ON PROBLEMS:
Peppers are quite susceptible to aphids. It is advisable to keep them under control, as aphids also transmit various diseases from one plant to another and make the plant weaker.
Natural enemies of the aphids (ladybug, parasitic wasp, gall midge) can keep the aphids in check if present. Rinsing the aphids off the leaves also keeps them from spreading too quickly. Rinsing with an infusion of nettle also helps.

HARVEST AND STORAGE:
Store peppers for up to 1 week in a cool place at 10-12°C.
