DCM Tree Cleaner kills the mosses and algae covered by a generously applied coating, physically sealing them off from the air. For a thick moss package, the product should penetrate to the bottom layer for optimum effect.
Shake well before use until the product is a homogeneous solution. Sieve out any lumps, then mix with water before use, see dosage. Do not mix with other products.
Apply directly to mosses and algae with a hand, back sprayer or watering can. Apply only with coarse drop to avoid clogging. Wet well, spraying has no effect!
Clean spraying equipment thoroughly after use.
Remove dead (crusted) moss using a rough brush. Repeat application if necessary to achieve optimum results.
How much to apply?
With 1L you can treat about 50 m².
When to apply?
March - November. This tree cleaner works best when mosses and algae are actively growing. This is usually when humidity is high. So during spring and autumn or in the morning (if there is dew on the mosses or algae), it is ideal to apply the tree cleaner. During the summer months, with drier weather, the product does not work as well.
