Komatsuna or Mustard Spinach is a fast growing loose leaf cabbage, with a fresh mustard taste and rich in calcium. Sow in the garden from early May to early September. Thin out at 25x10cm to obtain a large plant for stir-frying. Thin out at 25x5cm if you want to harvest the komatsuna at a young stage, for use in a salad or as spinach.
