Mild in flavor and ideal for raw vegetable salads. Ishikura produces a long and 2/3 cm thick stem that resembles leeks.

Sow outdoors: March to April
Harvest: May to August
Sowinginstructions: March to April in the garden in rows and thin out slightly after 6 weeks. Great for sowing in the fall for an early harvest in the spring.
