Pressurizing coffee creates a deposit of coffee residue and coffee grease in the part of your Nespresso® machine where the coffee is brewed (called the cup holder) and in the outlet nozzle. Each time coffee is brewed, some of this residue is carried away by the fresh coffee and affects the taste. It gets worse the longer it sits and builds up.
