General Oyster Mushrooms: Are grown in the Netherlands throughout the year on bags with a mixture of straw and water. When harvested, these mushrooms are picked in clusters and then cut off one by one. In the wild, the Oyster mushroom grows in clusters on tree trunks and dead wood.

Description: The Oyster Mushroom can be recognized by a light beige to light gray flat fan-shaped cap, 5 to 15 cm in diameter, a small stalk and clearly visible lamellae on the underside. The flesh is white, fibrous and soft. The Oyster mushroom has besides the white also a pink and a yellow variant.
