For the real do-it-yourselfers: Pure mushrooms, grown entirely by yourself with the Archi-duc Kit. Follow the sophisticated step-by-step plan and within 3 weeks you will have deliciously fresh mushrooms.
- Day 1: After purchase, let the jar rest in a room temperature area.
- Day 2: Remove the lid, clear film and instructions from the jar. (Caution: do NOT discard). Next, remove the bag of peat soil and the underlying clear foil from the jar. That foil may go in the trash.
- Day 2: Spread the peat evenly over the substrate. Do NOT press the peat down. Then mist +/- 10cl water over the peat substrate and place the clear film, instructions and lid back on the jar. Do not open the jar again for 1 week.
- Day 9: Take the lid off the jar and also remove the manual and the transparent foil. That foil may now go in the trash. Lightly moisten the peat with a mist sprayer and place the lid back on the jar. Then place the jar in a fresher room. Repeat this step on day 11, day 13, day 15, day 17, day 19 and day 21.
- After +/- 23 days, you can pick the mushrooms.
- After day 23, continue to lightly mist the peat every few days and leave the jar in a fresher room. ATTENTION: the brown mushrooms need less water than the white ones.
