Rio Grande is a roma tomato variety with a very high yield of firm, pear-shaped, deep red tomatoes that can weigh up to 100 grams each.
Rio Grande tomatoes are great for sauces, juices and for slicing. Is well resistant to disease.
From the end of February in a seedtray at 20°C or later outdoors in a greenhouse. After pricking out, transplant into a greenhouse or into pots. Tomatoes can also be planted outside in a sheltered, sunny spot. Remove side shoots regularly!
