- Increases efficiency
It is no secret that a dirty evaporator/condenser significantly lowers the efficiency of a heat pump, because the air flow to the fan is partially blocked. This prevents the heat pump from operating optimally and reduces its efficiency. Thus, impeccable cleanliness of the components not only saves energy, it also ensures optimum efficiency and extends the life of the unit.

A cleaning with Gridsoap takes only 10 minutes! All you have to do is spray the Gridsoap evenly on the evaporator, let it soak for 10 minutes and then rinse with a garden hose. It's that simple!

-No damage
In practice, the heat pump is sometimes cleaned with a pressure washer, but it deforms the fins irreversibly. Vacuum cleaners and air compressors, in turn, are not powerful enough to remove the dirt between the fins. Moreover, a heat pump is normally fitted with a grid or mesh which makes cleaning even more difficult. That's where Gridsoap comes in. Gridsoap can even clean the fins at the discharge zone of the condensing water.

-Less icing
Because Gridsoap provides free airflow inside the unit, the heat exchange balance is not disturbed and reduces the risk of icing.

Gridsoap also works preventively, as the product applies a protective layer. It reduces the risk of future dirt and at the same time protects the slats from corrosion.

Dose?
You can decide how much you want to use, but we recommend using the stated amount. For a unit smaller than 15 kW you will need about 0.5 liters, and for a unit larger than 15 kW and smaller than 30 kW you will need about 1.0 liters.

How to use
1. Turn off the power to the appliance.
2. Shake lightly before use. Spray from the top evenly in a smooth motion to the bottom.
3. Leave on for 10 minutes.
4. Rinse off with running water from the top in a smooth motion to the bottom.
