Vermiculite is the ideal sowing soil for your seeds! This is because Vermiculite absorbs water easily and therefore also retains nutrients well. Its fine structure makes it easy to grow and prick out your seedlings without damaging the roots.
Instructions for use:
You can also make your own potting soil mix by mixing one part vermiculite with three parts potting soil. This will keep your seedling soil lighter and airier. The vermiculite also keeps nutrients and water accessible to your plants longer.

Instructions for use:
- Before use, moisten the vermiculite, but not soaking wet. The easiest way is to immerse a sieve with vermiculite in a bowl of water and then let it drain well.
- Scoop a layer of several inches of damp vermiculite into seed tray and press the seeds into the vermiculite.
- Place lid on seed tray or cover with plastic.
