Mentha suaveolens 'Variegata' - pot 9x9 cm (Pineapple mint)
Ananasmunt
Product information "Mentha suaveolens 'Variegata' - pot 9x9 cm (Pineapple mint)"
Mint with a slightly fruity pineapple aroma
CULTIVATION TIPS:
Mint is perennial, hardy and grows in both sun and partial shade. The plant prefers moist, but well-drained, humus-rich soil. Mint is a weedy plant. It is therefore advisable to grow it in a pot or tub, which you may then bury in the ground
USES:
Pineapple mint has a slightly fruity aroma, not as strong as the aroma of apple mint. We can make a nice mint tea with the leaves. Also in salads, with desserts and in summer drinks the taste comes out well.
The combination of pineapple mint and fried banana is delicious.
Mint tea is good for digestion. It dispels indigestion, flatulence and cramps. Also nausea disappears by mint tea. We make mint tea by letting 5 leaves draw for 10 minutes in a cup of boiled water.
Note: mint should not be given to children for more than one week continuously and never to babies! Vaporizing with mint is good against nasal congestion.
