This unique mix with pupae of parasitic wasps and gall midges provides a quick and efficient approach to aphids on vegetables in the greenhouse or glasshouse.
The supplied package contains one tube of pupae of Aphidius and one tube of pupae of Aphidoletes mixed with a carrier.
- The pupae of parasitic wasp (Aphidius) should be distributed (with the carrier) to the different Naturapy® boxes. It is best to hang the boxes in the area of greatest infestation.
- The jar of gall midges (Aphidoletes) may simply be placed on the ground unscrewed. Place it in a shaded area to prevent drying out.
The hatched gall midges mate after budding and the females fly into the crop to lay eggs in the aphid colonies.The package supplied contains a tube of pupae of Aphidius and a tube of pupae of Aphidoletes mixed with a carrier.
