Micro Garden terracotta bowl is a simple grow kit for year-round sowing of Microgreens.
Dissolve the soil tablet according to the instructions on the inside of the package and spread the seeds evenly on the soil and cover with a thin layer of soil.
Buzzy Microgreens are vegetables and herbs, which you harvest at a young stage and eat raw, dividing them into two groups;
- Micro leaves: harvest and eat both the sprouting leaf and stem; the sprout.
- Baby leaves: harvest the shoots and eat the young leaves.
Kale can be roasted as microleaf after just one week. The leaves are buttery tender and ideal for use in a smoothie.
As baby leaves, allow the plant to grow for a few more weeks and the leaves can be used in various (stew) dishes (wraps, pasta or salad)
Baby kale is delicious for stir-frying with nuts or in combination with other vegetables.
