The Pressure Filters are ideal and trouble-free pressure filters for ponds, also suitable for streams and waterfalls. Even under high pressure the filter remains watertight and the water flow can be increased to 3 meters (depending on the pump capacity used).
The filter can be buried and is inconspicuous in the garden. Very easy to connect and equipped with all necessary filter materials, a UV-C Unit and hose grommets.

Usage:
Connect the filter to a dirty water/pond pump to circulate pond water. Use a filter hose to connect the pump outlet to the filter entrance. Attach a second hose to the exit of the filter for return flow to the pond. Give the filter a place next to the pond and lower the pump under the water. Activate the UV-C lamp and the water flow by inserting the plugs into the outlet. Please read the operating instructions first!
The Pressure Filter cleans the pond water in 3 phases:
- Mechanical filtration: visible dirt particles are removed by filter foam;
- Biological filtration: organic waste products are broken down by the many micro-organisms that attach to the biofilter balls;
- UV-C treatment: ultraviolet light kills floating algae and germs for clear and healthy pond water.H
The Pressure Filter has several advantages over other
- The capacity of the 'working volume' and thus the purifying power of the filter is greater than with conventional filter types.
- Both the mechanical and biological filtration of the water is very effective.
- The built-in UV-C unit ensures that the pond not only remains crystal clear, but also healthy.
- Due to the materials used, the filter is well able to withstand high pressure built up when used for a waterfall.
- Unobtrusive, they can be buried if desired.
- The dirt indicator on top of the lid indicates the degree of contamination of the filter material and thus the flow capacity of the filter.
- By increasing pollution in the filter, the indicator will rise (the 6000 version does not have this option).
- The dirt backwash function on top of the lid simplifies cleaning tasks.
TIP: If the UV-C lamp has been in continuous operation for a pond season, the light output has decreased. Install a new UV-C lamp in the spring for lasting results. Available in three capacities for ponds up to 15,000 liters
