Very popular cucumber variety that can be planted in the open ground. Produces dark green and straight fruits that can grow to about 20 inches long. To save space, this plant can be supported. This variety is highly resistant to diseases such as scab, mildew and mosaic virus. Sow from mid-April to mid-May under glass, prick out in pots and plant outside at the end of May or sow from May onwards outside in rows. Avoid standing on the tendrils during growth: growth disorders give bitter fruits!
