Seed potato Pearl 1kg - 28-40mm
Product information "Seed potato Pearl 1kg - 28-40mm"
The seed potato Pearl dates back to the year 1952 when it was created from a cross of the Eigenheimer, among others. It still bears some resemblance to this. Finally, the Parel seed potato came on the market in 1965. It is a potato for lovers because of its distinctive full flavor. For us it is a small variety, which is mainly purchased for allotments.
The Pearl seed potato is extremely suitable for sandy soils. The disadvantage is that the Pearl is sensitive to drought and is rather difficult to peel due to the deep pips. The Pearl is reasonably resistant to Phytophtora.
The Pearl is a floury/floury potato, which is very suitable for normal consumption, such as boiling and baking. Not suitable for french fries.
