Pheromone trap against codling moth + 2 pheromones
Product information "Pheromone trap against codling moth + 2 pheromones"
- against codling moth
- trap including pheromone capsules
- Deltaval + 2 pheromone capsules
- 1 trap per 5 fruit trees
- Application: April-May-June
- 1 capsule = 4 to 6 weeks active
Why? In apple and pear trees, the codling moth creates worms that make corridors in the fruit up to the core. The fruit then begins to rot internally and is no longer edible.
How to recognize? The codling moth is +- 9 mm in size. Color: gray with a golden spot on the wing tip. They fly mainly in the evening at temperatures above 13 ° C.
Content:1 Deltaval + 2 pheromone capsules. The capsule is active for 6 weeks, 4 weeks in warm months.
Hang 1 trap per 5 fruit trees from the end of April. Application: April-May-June
This pheromone attracts male codling moths and thus prevents reproduction. Female moths can no longer lay eggs if they are not fertilized. This reduces the worm infestation. The codling moth infests both apples and pears.
How to use?
Drop the pheromone into the basket of the trap and close with the cap. The pheromones are all individually packaged in an aluminum pouch so you can drop the pheromone capsule directly from the pouch into the basket. This ensures that you do not contaminate the pheromone with the smell of your hands. You should NOT open or touch the pheromone.
Note: the capsules look empty (transparent) but they are definitely not! The pheromones are released from the capsule over several weeks. So you can't see any liquid.
