The Clean Pond UV-C combats (floating) algae in the pond. Oxygenated plants benefit from this and will grow better, ensuring clear pond water all year round.
UV-C equipment has long been used to keep aquarium and pond water free from floating algae and to reduce germs. With UV-C filtration you therefore obtain crystal clear water and a healthy water environment for fish and aquatic plants. The effect is based on ultraviolet radiation, which attacks the cells of animal and plant organisms. As the water to be filtered is passed in a thin layer directly over the quartz glass, the effect is optimal.
Usage:
Connect the UV-C filter to a pond pump, for example a pump from the Econo series. Tip: If the UV-C lamp has been in continuous operation for a pond season, the light output has decreased. Install a new UV-C lamp in the spring for lasting results.
