The set contains 50 disposable strips for determining the chlorine, pH and alkalinity value of your pool.
A pool provides the necessary cooling and water fun, but it is very important to also keep an eye on the values for a safe & healthy swimming experience.
Procedure:
- Place the strip in the water for a few seconds
- Let the strip dry for a while (wiggle it to speed up the process)
- The strip will change color. Hold the strip next to the color chart that comes with it and find which color best matches and thus what the value of your own pool water is
The ideal pool values:
- pH: 7-7.6
- chlorine: 1-2.5mg/L
- alkalinity: 100-150mg/L
