This chicken coop has it all!
The coop has a lockable, fully covered outdoor run that runs under the night coop. The night coop is accessible via a walkway and features a laying nest. This nest is accessible from outside to collect eggs. Both the entire coop and the laying nest have a roof finished with green roofing leather.
The night coop has a manure tray, a door and a window. The entrance for the chickens is lockable from the outside via a convenient lever. This keeps the chickens safe from potential predators at night.
Tip from Marcel: We recommend placing the coops so that they are not in direct contact with a damp surface, it is also advisable to treat the coops with a water-repellent paint/stain a few days before use.Important info about our chicken coops: they are made of untreated pine wood, which is susceptible to moisture and mold. Our advice? Give the wood an extra coat of water-repellent paint or stain, but only on the outside. Move the hutch to a dry place with tiles or under a shelter, avoid direct contact with damp surfaces. Regular thorough cleaning and thorough drying is key (every 2 to 3 weeks).
