Favorite Stories
There really is a story for every signature. Some are just more
interesting to me than others. When I really got going on this thing,
I started taking the ball to games. I would go a couple hours before
the game started and try and get people down near the field. Usually
though, I wouldn’t be able to get players at that time. Coaches
and management were the only ones that were available.
I thought also that the person raising the “12th Man”
flag was someone whose signature would be a good addition to the
ball. I would go up there when they were raising the flag and ask
for their autograph. The last couple years, I went to the Seahawks
scrimmage where players were available. If I had to pick out
my top 5 memories, they would be:
- John Nordstrom
- David Hill
- President Clinton
- Paul Allen
- Seneca Wallace, Lofa Tatupu, Jordan Babineaux, and Niko Koutouvides
